Whether you are preparing for your first visit, building a consistent wellness routine, or simply looking to better understand what to expect, this page is here to support you. Explore helpful guidance for before, during, and after your massage, along with information to help you make thoughtful choices about your care. New resources will be added regularly as Cazori continues to grow.
Please complete your intake form before your appointment and arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in without feeling rushed.
Your session begins with a brief conversation about your goals, preferences, areas of tension, and any relevant health information. You will have privacy to get settled in to your level of comfort, and your therapist will explain the session process, check in about pressure and comfort, and use your intake, goals, and professional judgment to guide session.
You are encouraged to ask questions before the session begins and to communicate anything that may help you feel more at ease. Your therapist will review the plan fo rthe session, including the areas that will be addresssed, before care begins.
Once you are settled, your therapist will step out of the room and return when you are ready. Your session begins with professional touch guided by the goals discussed during your intake and your body’s response throughout the appointment.
Your therapist may check in regarding pressure and comfort, and you are always welcome to speak up if something does not feel right or if you need to shift position.
Depending on your service and preferences, enhancements such as aromatherapy, topical applications, hot stones, or other available add-ons may be incorporated to support the overall experience. Soft music will be playing throughout your session and can be turned up or down upon request.
After your session, give yourself time to transition back into your day. Drink water, move gently, and allow your body to rest if possible.
It is normal to feel calm, relaxed, or more aware of the areas that received focused attention. You may also experience temporary tenderness, particularly after deeper pressure or work in areas of long-held tension. These responses are a normal part of how the body may respond after massage and typically ease with time.
When possible, avoid rushing into strenuous activity immediately after your appointment. Pay attention to how your body feels over the next day or two, and reach out if you have questions about your post-session experience before your next visit.
Choosing the right service begins with considering what you need most at this point in time. You may be looking for a quiet opportunity to rest and decompress, focused attention for areas of ongoing tension, or a more restorative session that supports your overall wellness routine.
Your service selection helps establish the direction and length of your appointment.
If you are unsure which option best fits your needs, begin with the service that feels most aligned with your primary goal. Your intake conversation provides an opportunity to discuss your concerns, preferences, and areas you would like addressed so the session can be approached thoughtfully and within your comfort level.
Massage can be a meaningful part of a consistent self-care routine, especially when paired with rest, hydration, gentle movement, and attention to the ways stress or tension show up in your body.
Rather than waiting until discomfort feels overwhelming, regular care can create intentional time to pause, reconnect, and respond to your body’s needs.
The right rhythm looks different for every person. Some clients benefit from making massage part of a weekly to monthly wellness routine, while others schedule sessions around demanding seasons, physical activity, travel, or times of increased stress. Your goals, lifestyle, and response to care can help guide what feels realistic and supportive for you.
Many of our clients enjoy regularly recurring appointments and schedule in advance, while others schedule their next appointment prior to leaving Cazori.
The timing of your next visit can be shaped by your goals, lifestyle, and the way your body responds to care. Weekly sessions may be a supportive option during periods of higher stress, increased physical activity, ongoing tension, or when you are establishing a more consistent wellness routine.
There is no single schedule that fits everyone. Whether you prefer a regular recurring appointment or choose to book as needed, reserving time for massage can help make restorative care a consistent and intentional part of your routine.
